As soon as I saw previews of the Vivax I fell in love with it. I love the bold collar and yoke, and the round pockets characteristic of Sofilantjes.
This pattern has a lot of different options and possibilities! So much fun!
As I have grown accustomed to form Sofilantjes, the fit of the pattern is amazing. I made a straight size 12 with no mods and it fits her like a glove. For the test, I was assigned the top length, round yoke and half sleeves, which I couldn’t be happier about! I love how this turned out and am actually jealous because I want one too! lol
The fabric used was French Terry I bought at the local fabric shop. I really need to go back and get more of this navy and ochre one, it’s so pretty!
I really really reaaaaally enjoy making those round pockets! They are so nicely put together and gives the top just that extra something. A simple detail that gives the pattern so much personality and possibility of variation!
