Vega Bra, Top and Dress – Petite Stitchery & Co

Vega is the second pattern from PSCO’s new Athleisure Collection that I helped with testing. Another fun one!

The base of the pattern is an amazing strappy back Bra.

The Bra features a V-neck front and comes with 2 back options: Cross back or Solid with Peekaboo.
As an addition to the bra, you can add an overlay top or dress to it or even attach a gathered skirt for a super cute summer dress.

I opted to make a cross back bra with the top overlay and I love the concept of this pattern. It can be a cute summer top or an awesome work out gear.

The fabrics I used were Rayon knit for the overlay and swim for the bra, and I used FOE for the bands (you can also choose to make your own biding out of fabric).

Geez… I swear I ironed this before photograping, but I guess it’s a temperamental fabric.

On the bright side, how lucky was I with this FOE + fabric color matching? I ordered them from different websites and was crossing my fingers they’d work well together.

This was a really fun project to sew and I can’t wait to make more of them. As I’ve been sewing so many bra/tops lately (Briar, Linden, LBB) I think I’ll stick with the top overlay option for now.
