As I’ve mentioned before, I’m SO ready for spring weather!
But while it doesn’t arrive I’m more than happy to stay cozy and fashionable in my Valencia Top by New Horizons!
The pattern has a lot of options and they are all great!
For my first one, I made the Cross Over Back with the banded bottom, and long cuff sleeves. I used a bubble gum colored sweater knit and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the color on me. The fabric is a dream to wear… it’s so soft, it’s like a hug!
No modifications done, just size adjustments. Graded at the hips, as usual, and added length to the front and back panels and sleeves to account for height difference.
I can honestly say, I LOVE this top! It looks like a perfectly lovely and regular top on the front and then you turn around and BAM, sexy back! 😀
Now I feel I need to make a lovely lace bralette or top to wear underneath for those days I don’t want to go bare back.
