Sew a Little Seam

Ollie Bomber with Hood

The Ollie Bomber Jacket by Sew a Little Seam is one of my absolute favorite patterns. I’ve made 5 of them already and plan on keep on making them. Because Kelly is crazy talented, this jacket is so smooth and easy to put together. And since she’s not only talented but also super generous she just released a FREE Hood Add-on, it includes two hood options (two-piece and center panel) and a kangaroo pocket.

If you don’t have the Ollie Bomber Jacket Pattern yet, both versions (children and women’s) are on sale for $5,95 each with the code “OllieLove” thru Feb.5th.

(loving the hoodie!)

I’m ecstatic with my new jacket!
The lining and pocket are made scuba and the outer fabric is a quilted leather look knit. The scuba I used is on the thick side, so the walking foot came to the rescue and it was a breeze to make. The Kangaroo pocket instead of the welt pocket cut the sewing time way down so it was a relatively fast project to make.

My kids and I are huge Ollie fans!
My husband is a little jealous that there isn’t  an Ollie pattern for him… And I believe he isn’t the only one, so…
*ahem* Kelly : Ollie for men? Pretty pleeeaaaase? 🙂
