Comfy Town

Comfy Town!
How perfect is this title? 😀
I’m so happy to join in this Rebecca Page’s tour, especially when it’s all about being comfortable and cozy!

As you’ve seen on the tour so far, there are so many options and possibilities within RP’s patterns.

I don’t know about you, but when I think Comfy Town, I think sleep/loungewear. So when choosing what to make I had to keep my goal in mind because I’m kinda weird… I love lounging in comfy pants and sweaters but can’t stand sleeping in them (same goes for socks btw). So to me, they are 2 veeeery different categories!

As you can see, I went with the sleepwear route! 😉

Strappy Cami and Pippa Pants together make the perfect pj’s and the Cora Cocoon finishes it off keeping me warm during my first cup of morning tea and adding extra coziness to the set.

(if you’re wondering about my claw-like grip, it’s no a prop I actually had hot tea in the mug and was afraid to burn myself! lol)

The Strappy Cami was a new sew for me and I’m so happy I finally made one. I love a good cami and this one doesn’t disappoint! It’s really comfortable and easy to sew. In fact, all three patterns are very beginners friendly.

The Pippa Pants is an old friend that I love with all my heart! This is the first time I make it as shorts though and the love just keeps getting stronger. <3 (No special mods just eyeballed the length I wanted and chopped.) 😉

Pippa is such a great fit, it really is my go-to for knit pants in general.

The Cora Cocoon was a first for me as well. Why oh why did I wait so long to make one? This thing is so comfy and actually way more flattering than I thought it would be.

I need all the Coras, like yesterday! Good thing that it’s a super fast and easy sew.

I didn’t grade for my hips, made a straight size L and really like the fit. This is the 3/4 length sleeve option.

The fabrics I used were a mystery knit (print) I got a while ago and it’s FT like, the Cora is made out of CL and the bands and back of the Cami are denim look rayon knit.

Feeling comfortable is the best!
What do you feel comfortable in? What’s your ticket for Comfy Town? I’d love it if you let me know in the comments! 😉
