Be Amazing Dress by Ellie and Mac is just that, amazing.
It’s a twirly party dress that makes a great impression due to the addition of horsehair braid to the hemline. It was my first time using it and it was a challenge to find it here in the Netherlands.
The application was pretty straightforward, I had no problems with it. The pattern has very easy to follow instructions.
Even though Samantha is in a no-dresses phase, she loves this one and can’t wait for it to get warmer so she can wear it.
I used micro satin for the top part and silk satin for the skirt, both remnants from previous projects (yay for using up the stash!). The micro satin is from the Arabella Top (Rebbeca Page) I made for my brother’s wedding and the silk satin I used for a lovely Daintree Skirt (Blank Slate). Maybe when the weather allows, we can have a mommy and me matching shoot 😉
