Start Struck + Road Trip Bodysuit – George+Ginger
I’ll have to repeat myself…
I thought I couldn’t love this pattern more, I was wrong yet again!
I had all the intentions of making a top with the half-circle peplum included in the pattern, but the idea of a mash with the Road Trip kept haunting me and I just had to give in to it.
So, if you’ve been wondering if the Start Struck could work as a bodysuit or a swimsuit, I’m here to tell you… YES!
Yes, it works and it’s a game-changer. Oh, the possibilities!
The pattern mashing is super simple and the result is perfection.
I didn’t photograph a step-by-step because I was too excited about the project and wanted to get it done fast. lol
Would anyone be interested in a pictorial of what I did? Let me know and I’ll gladly oblige. 😉
This lace is a bit narrower than the white one I used for the other top, but it still gives the illusion of a mini cap sleeve, which I love.
Hmmmm…. what should I try next?
I think I need to stock up on more lace jic 😛
