Like I said in my Juliet blog post, this girl just keeps on growing and that means growing out of a lot of kids patterns… 🙁
I’m so glad that Kelsey Cook from Petite Stitchery & Co released the Women’s Juliet!
I made this one as a trial/test to see how the women’s pattern would fit here and it was a hit from the get-go! All I did was take a couple of inches from the length (trunk girth) and voila, perfect fit!
The intention was to make a black one for her ballet class, but she fell in love with this one and doesn’t want any other for the lessons… I was a bit concerned because I didn’t know if a flowery leotard would be frowned upon or not but turns out the teacher really liked it and it was a big hit! 😀
This leotard is fully lined, which she loves! It’s an extra protection that makes her feel comfortable and secure.
