Be the Leader is the new top pattern by Ellie and Mac, and I’m already a big fan!
I’m normally not a ruffles person, but I absolutely am obsessed with an off the shoulder tops and dresses. Like, a LOT!
This top is crazy fast and easy to put together! It comes with 3 different top lengths (crop, shirt, and tunic), 3 sleeve lengths and 2 flounce lengths. What helps this top to be a fast sew is the fact that there’s no gathering involved! Yep, I said no gathering! It has a flounce that fits perfectly around the bodice and the elastic than takes care of the rest! Woot!
I made the crop top, with short sleeves and longer flounce. I used a mystery knit fro the bodice and a knit lace for the flounce. I’m gonna need a million more of these to wear with my high waisted pants and skirts!!!
